The project is part of a broader programme for the Djibouti-Ethiopia Corridor: ‘Promoting regional economic integration in the Horn of Africa through the development of the Djibouti Corridor’, also funded by the European Union (EU) through the Agence Française de Développement (AfD).
The Fourth Estate is the only project from Ghana, and one of five projects from four African countries (Kenya, Nigeria, Ghana, Zimbabwe) to have made the shortlist.
Applications will be received from May 13th to July 2nd, 2024, with 80 top applicants from eight focus countries – Ethiopia, Ghana, Kenya, Malawi, Nigeria, Rwanda, Tanzania, and Uganda – joining the highly competitive and selective programme.
