The Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) bleeds over the years and its environment is the real reason why.

The DRC environment is endowed with rich mineral resources and that is what the West needs from the country.

The mineral richness of the environment in DRC is what is behind all the genocide in the country.

With an estimated $23 trillion in undeveloped mineral deposits, the Democratic Republic of the Congo is the richest country in the world in terms of material resources.

And, wth appropriate use, the Democratic Republic of the Congo has the potential to become the world’s largest net exporter of natural resources and producer of finished commodities.

Congo mineral reserves

Nearly 60% of the cobalt produced worldwide comes from DR, making it the greatest producer in the world but Congo bleeds. Regretfully, it is exported to produce ceramics, batteries for electrical goods, and engines for automobiles and aircraft.

The Democratic Republic of the Congo produces 80% of the world’s coltan, which is used to make high-end brands of phones, computers, and accessories at the expense of child labour.

Congo gold

A sizable uranium deposit exists in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. In truth, Congo DR’s mineral resources were used to make the atomic bombs for World War II, which accounted for 80% of US nuclear weapons.

Congo is the third-largest producer of diamonds in the world, after Botswana and Russia, and possesses the second-largest diamond reserves in the world.

The Democratic Republic of the Congo is one of the world’s top producers of gold; most of the gold that is smuggled out of Africa and into Dubai passes through Tanzania, Rwanda, and Uganda. One of the most sought-after types of gold is its handmade gold.

DRC is supposedly so rich that one may extract minerals with just one hand, and the 80th-largest oil producer, generating more than 4.1% of its reserves annually.

There are 10,000 animal species and 600 tree species in the Congo rainforest. Forest elephants, gorillas, chimpanzees, okapi, leopards, hippos, and lions are among its most well-known inhabitants.

DRC is one of the top exporters of wood, and the Congo basin contains the world’s greatest mineral reserves, which include wood, oil, diamonds, gold, and coltan, and is a net exporter of entertainment; music was primarily exported in the 1990s.

The country has the world’s highest power production capacity of 40GW, yet Congo bleeds.
