The Kano state government is to establish a Center for Disease Control. Governor Abba Yusuf has written the State House of Assembly to approve the request.
The letter was addressed read on the floor of the House by the Speaker, Jibril Falgore, on Monday.
According to the letter, the center would address the prevailing disease outbreak in the state, when established.
