New executives have emerged in the Correspondents Chapel of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) in Niger state.
The bi-annual election which was held on Wednesday saw the immediate past Secretary, Mustapha Bina emerging as the new Chairman of the Chapel uncontested.
In a keenly competitive election, Dan Atori from New Telegraph Newspaper emerged as Secretary of the chapel while Priscilla Dennis from Daily Post emerged as the Financial Secretary.
Other uncontested positions include the Vice Chairman, Abdul Mohammed and theTreasurer Mathew Jawtu.
Handing over to the new Chairman, the outcome Chairman, Aideloje Ojo from Blueprint Newspaper urged the new Chairman to carry all members along and discourage divisiveness among members.
The new Chairman, Mustapha Bina asked the members to work towards presenting a united front in order to defend the rights of the masses who they represent.
