The Saudi authorities have allocated 43,000 pilgrims seats to Nigeria for the 2022 Hajj exercise.
This was disclosed by the Executive Secretary, Kano state Pilgrims Welfare Board, Muhammad Abba Dambatta, who briefed journalists in Kano on Wednesday.
The allocation is far below the 95,000 seats allocated to the country in the 2018 and 2019 hajj.
Although, the allocation has not officially been released by the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON), reliable sources at the Commission confirmed the figure to Solacebase.
