Governor Aminu Tambuwal on Monday, landed at the Khartoum International Airport Sudan.
The governor, who is in Sudan for the graduation of 38 indigenes of who studied in the country, was received by the Nigeria’s Ambassador to Sudan Musa Saban Mamman.
Also on hand to receive him were the advanced party of the high-powered delegation from Sokoto, including the Secretary to the Government of Sokoto State, Saidu Umar; Commissioners of Finance, Abdussamad Dasuki and Higher Education, Prof. Bashir Garba.
Others include, the Chairman Sokoto State Scholarship Board, Altine Kajiji, Director-General Sokoto State Scholarship Board, Bello Isah, Director Foreign Students Matters, Kabiru Labaran, and the Deputy Accountant General, Maccido Musa.
ASHENEWS earlier reported Tambuwal would be in Khartoum to witness the graduation ceremony of 38 students sponsored by the Sokoto government who studied medicine, and other health related courses at the Ibn Sina University (ISU) and Nahda International University College (NIUC), in the Sudanese capital of Khartoum.
Tambuwal will also be conferred with Honorary Doctorate Degree by the Nahda International University College.
