President Muhammadu Buhari’s order issued to security chiefs, to fish out sponsors of terrorism and other criminal activities responsible for insecurity in the country, seem to be yielding results.
The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, NDLEA, on April 1 made important arrest, the Presidential aide on Digital and Social Media, Lauretta Onichie, disclosed on her tweeter handle @Laurestar.
The suspect, a 35-year-old Chadian national, Adama Uomar Issa is hard drug provider for Boko Haram terrorists in Nigeria, who procures narcotics for the insurgents in Taraba State, North East.
“The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, @ndlea_nigeria, has arrested a member of the B’Haram value chain, 35-year-old Chadian, Adama Uomar Issa who procures narcotics for Boko Haram insurgents in Taraba State. “He was caught in possession of assorted hard drugs,” Onichie tweeted.
Earlier this week, the Presidency had disclosed that security agents had arrested some Nigerians that are funding terrorists.
