The Enugu State Government has inaugurated an interactive website to showcase community and grassroots developments, including amenities and infrastructure.
Mr Monday Ani, the General Manager of the Enugu State Community and Social Development Agency (CSDA), unveiled the official website on Monday in Enugu.
Ani said the website would provide easy access to vital information about CSDA activities for the general public.
According to him, the CSDA is a state government-funded agency with the mandate of executing community and grassroots intervention projects that largely benefit the poor and vulnerable.
He said the CSDA was currently implementing the World Bank’s Nigerian Community Action for Resilience and Economic Stimulus (NG-CARES) programmes across communities in the state.
“The website, with the official address csda.en.gov.ng, has unique features which include a digital portal as well as statewide project visibility and transparency.
“Other features include interactive project mapping and geographic visibility, LGA and ward-level project exploration, project information, images and community visibility, among others,” he said.
Ani said the listed features were connected to the central functional values being delivered by the agency.
He said residents needed to visit the site to search for vital information about the agency and its operational procedures.
“Residents should visit the website to know what His Excellency, Gov. Peter Mbah, has done and is still doing for the communities of Enugu State, especially the rural areas, through the agency,” he said.
He further said that Operation 2.0 of NG-CARES would be more beneficial to the communities.
The general manager urged the general public to always visit the website for vital information and procedures on the activities of the agency.
