Senator Aliyu Wamakko, has felicitated with Ambassador-Designate, Faruk Malami Yabo, MFR, on his recent apportionment as Nigeria’s Ambassador to the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, by President Muhammadu Buhari.
The Senator in a statement by his spokesperson, Bashir Mani made available to ASHENEWS on Wednesday said Yabo’s appointment and posting to Jordan, which is a key Middle Eastern country, is a good omen to Nigeria.
According to him, Buhari’s gesture could not have come at a better time than now when Nigeria was repositioning her diplomatic relations with the international community.
“Yabo is an elixir for the subsisting cordial relations between Nigeria and Jordan. I am confident that he will live above board and facilitate Nigeria’s immense growth and socioeconomic development,” Wamakko stressed.
