The Caliphate Ambassadors have issued a strong rebuttal against recent allegations circulating in the media concerning Atiku Bagudu, Minister of Budget, purportedly signing agreements with clauses involving Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender (LGBT) matters.

In an official statement issued in Kaduna on Friday, the Caliphate Ambassadors categorically denied claims suggesting that Atiku Bagudu signed any agreements, specifically the SAMOA agreement, with provisions related to LGBT issues. They emphasized that these allegations are entirely unfounded and lack any merit.

“It is crucial to emphasize that Atiku Bagudu has consistently upheld the values and principles of our nation, which include respecting our cultural and religious beliefs,” the statement read.

“The Minister of Budget has not engaged in any activities or signed any agreements that contradict these fundamental principles.”

The Caliphate Ambassadors highlighted the importance of transparency and accuracy in public discourse, stressing that disseminating false information undermines institutions’ integrity and hinders collective efforts towards national development.

“We urge media organisations and the public to exercise caution and verify information before publication or dissemination. Misleading reports not only harm the reputation of individuals but also sow discord within our society,” the statement continued.

The Caliphate Ambassadors reaffirmed their support for Atiku Bagudu, praising his dedication to fiscal responsibility and economic development, which they noted continues to benefit all citizens of the nation.

In a call to action, the Ambassadors encouraged all stakeholders, including the media and the public, to prioritize accuracy and responsibility in reporting and consuming information.

“Together, we can uphold the values of honesty and accountability that are essential for our nation’s progress,” they concluded.

The statement from the Caliphate Ambassadors aims to set the record straight and maintain public trust in the leadership of Bagudu amidst these baseless allegations.
