ASHENEWS reports that the Federal Minister of Foreign Affairs, Yusuf Maitama Tuggar has reacted to the petition of his Aide, Mrs Simisola Fajemirokun Ajayi on alleged sexual harassment against the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry, Ibrahim Adamu Lamuwa.

He has formally written to the Head of Service of the Federation, Dr. Folasade Yemi-Esan.

Mrs Ajayi had alleged that Lamuwa had sexually harassed her, allegation that the Permanent Secretary waved aside, accusing her that she was frustrated because he denied her access to certain privileges and other financial requests that could not be defended,

Tuggar, in his letter dated May 27, 2024, and addressed to the Head of Service, says in view of the gravity of the allegation, “I feel it necessary to draw your attention to it and ask that you handle it accordingly.”
