The Sokoto Attorney General and Commissioner of Justice, Sulaiman Usman, SAN has been conferred with the Fellowship of the Chartered Mediators and Conciliation Nigeria, ICMC.
This is contained in an invitation letter to Mr Usman by the Governing Council of the institute on Wednesday.
According to the letter, the Attorney General will be inducted as the Fellow of the Institute at the first ever African Mediation Conference, which will hold at the Nigeria Bar Association (NBA) House, Central Business District Abuja, on the 1st of December 2020.
It added that the institute is partnering with over 20 notable ADR institutions in the world to deliver her first ever Africa Mediation Conference.
It further stated that Usman SAN could use the designation letters, FICMC to his title after the induction.
