As part of the Ahmadu Bello University (ABU), Zaria, Diamond Jubilee celebrations, a Special Public Lecture to highlight and buttress the role and contributions of the ABU Faculty of Law to national development has was held on Thursday, 5th October, 2023.

The topic of the public lecture is “ABU Zaria at 60: The Strategic Role and Contributions of Faculty of Law to the Legal Profession and National Development” and the Director General, Nigerian Institute of Advanced Legal Studies, Prof. Muhammed Tawfiq Ladan delivered the lead lecturer.

Dignitaries at the event included the Former Chief Judge, High Court of the FCT, Abuja, Hon. Justice Ishaq Usman Bello PhD the Kuliyan Zazzau, as chairman and the ABU Vice Chancellor, Prof. Kabiru Bala, as Chief Host.

Justice Bello demonstrated his exceptional skills and finesse as he chaired the Silver Jubilee lecture series of Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, on 6th October 2023. His regal presence commanded the attention of the audience, and his meticulous and professional approach to the event was evident throughout.

With intermittent bouts of humor, Justice Bello lightened the mood and ensured that the lecture series was both engaging and informative.

From the moment he entered the hall, it was clear that he possessed a commanding presence. The thunderous round of applause that greeted him was a testament to the respect and admiration he commanded.
