Browsing: rising sea levels

An environmentalist, Mr Furoebi Akene has called on the Federal Government and states along the Atlantic coastline to save coastal communities from being submerged due to the alarming rate of rising sea levels due to climate change.

The Nigeria Hydrological Services Agency (NIHSA)  on Friday issued an urgent warning to the public regarding the rising water levels of the River Niger system.
