Browsing: global plastics treaty

The third session of the Intergovernmental Negotiating Committee to develop an international legally binding instrument on plastic pollution, including in the marine environment (INC-3), opened today in the Kenyan capital, Nairobi. INC-3 members will start negotiations on the basis of the Zero Draft text prepared by the Chair of the INC.

Civil Society Organisations (CSOs) under the auspices of Community Action Against Plastic Waste (CAPws), has called on the Federal Government to take concrete action to implement the global plastics treaty.
