The Responsible AI Institute (RAI Institute), a global, member-driven nonprofit committed to enabling successful and responsible AI adoption, has appointed cybersecurity expert Matthew Martin to its Global Advisory Board. Martin is the founder and CEO of Two Candlesticks and brings over 25 years of experience in securing digital infrastructures across the globe.
Martin’s appointment is expected to strengthen the Institute’s mission to help organizations build transparent, accountable, and ethically grounded AI systems. His expertise in cybersecurity will be instrumental in supporting AI governance, risk mitigation, and the development of resilient AI frameworks across diverse industries.
As a seasoned executive who has led security operations at several Fortune 100 financial institutions, Martin now provides strategic cybersecurity consulting through Two Candlesticks, with a focus on underserved regions. His new role at the RAI Institute aligns closely with his mission to expand access to future-ready, secure AI infrastructure worldwide.
