Tom Garba empowers Kaduna constituents, vows ‘non-negotiable’ APC victory in 2027

Tom Garba, a former APC frontline aspirant for Lere West Constituency in the Kaduna State House of Assembly, has reaffirmed his loyalty to the All Progressives Congress (APC), pledging to deploy his campaign structure to mobilise support for the party ahead of the 2027 general elections.

Garba committed while addressing hundreds of APC supporters, grassroots politicians and party loyalists at a gathering in Garun Kurama, where he also provided cash support to some party members and less-privileged residents.

He said his decision to support the APC remained firm despite failing to secure the party’s ticket, stressing that his loyalty to the party was greater than his personal political ambitions.

“With my campaign structure, I will use all I have to vigorously canvass, advocate and mobilise votes for all the APC candidates. I’m a loyal party man. The fact that I didn’t get the ticket is never an ‘I must do’ agenda,” Garba said.

He said political leadership was ultimately determined by God, adding that his failure to secure the ticket at this time would not prevent him from contributing to the party’s success.

“It’s not time for me. I’m convinced mine is coming at the appointed time, which is going to be the best,” he said.

Garba declared that securing victory for APC candidates across the political hierarchy would be his immediate priority.

“My business for now is focused on seeing that I deliver all my candidates in APC from top to bottom. It’s non-negotiable, and I mean it,” he said.

The APC chieftain praised President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for what he described as efforts to address insecurity, strengthen the economy and improve infrastructure across the country.

He also commended Tinubu for appointing several indigenes of Kaduna State to strategic positions in the Federal Government, describing the appointments as evidence of inclusiveness.

Garba expressed support for Kaduna State Governor Uba Sani, describing his administration as beneficial to residents of Lere Local Government Area.

“Leaders like Uba Sani are rare because his human nature of serving with a sense of fairness is his watchword. His efforts to carry everyone along so that people can feel and get the dividends of democracy are commendable,” he said.

Vote APC from top to bottom

Garba urged residents of Garun Kurama and surrounding communities to vote for APC candidates across elective positions, saying continued APC control would create opportunities for further development.

He described Lere as an agrarian community with significant potential in farming and food production, noting that the area was receiving increased attention in education and agriculture.

Garba also celebrated the emergence of a female Majority Leader in the Kaduna State House of Assembly, describing it as a significant achievement for the area.

He urged voters to support APC candidates, including former Kaduna State Governor and the party’s senatorial candidate, His Excellency Lamaran Yero; the APC candidate for Lere Federal Constituency, Engr. Ahmed Mannir; and the consensus candidate for the State House of Assembly, Mubarak Ibrahim.

He described the candidates as capable of representing the interests of the people and urged his supporters to work collectively for their victory.

As the 2027 elections approach, Garba called for peace and unity, urging supporters to conduct themselves peacefully during the political season.

He maintained that his political ambition would not stand in the way of party unity, stressing that his immediate objective was to contribute to the APC’s electoral success across Kaduna State.

The gathering ended with renewed appeals for grassroots mobilisation and support for APC candidates ahead of the 2027 elections.
