The APC House of Representatives candidate for Lavun, Mokwa and Edati Federal Constituency, Adamu Suleiman Kpautagi, has begun consultations with traditional, religious and party leaders in Mokwa Local Government Area, seeking their support and prayers ahead of the 2027 election.
Kpautagi commenced the engagement tour following his emergence as the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate, visiting key stakeholders and communities to express appreciation for their support and strengthen ties with grassroots structures.
During a visit to the palace of Alhaji Mohammed Shaba Aliyu Ndalile of Mokwa, Kpautagi thanked the traditional institution and people of the area for their goodwill, while presenting his aspirations for the constituency and seeking royal guidance and blessings.
The traditional leader prayed for peace, wisdom and success for the candidate, urging him to remain humble, accessible and committed to the welfare of the people.
Kpautagi also visited the residence of the Chief Imam of Mokwa, where he appreciated the Muslim community for its prayers and support and sought continued spiritual guidance as he begins wider consultations across the constituency.
The Chief Imam welcomed the delegation and prayed for divine guidance, peace, unity and success in the political journey ahead.
The candidate’s delegation subsequently visited the APC Local Government Secretariat, where the Mokwa Local Government APC Chairman, Ibrahim Buka, received them.
Buka urged party members and supporters across the local government to remain united and loyal to the APC, stressing the importance of grassroots mobilisation, collective responsibility and party cohesion.
Speaking during the engagement, the Director-General of the Kpautagi Campaign Team, Abbas Sani, thanked the people of Mokwa for what he described as their tremendous love, support and goodwill towards the candidate.
Sani also acknowledged the contributions of party leaders, stakeholders, traditional institutions, religious leaders and community members, assuring them that their support and confidence would not be taken for granted.
Kpautagi’s final engagement for the day took him to his hometown, where he met with his kinsmen and community members to formally seek their blessings and prayers.
The community received him warmly and offered prayers and words of encouragement as he prepares to embark on what his team described as a journey of service and representation.
The visits marked the beginning of Kpautagi’s wider stakeholder engagements across Lavun, Mokwa and Edati Federal Constituency, with the candidate pledging to prioritise consultation, accessibility, inclusive representation and grassroots engagement.
