#NigeriaDecides – Kaduna state governor, Nasiru El-Rufai has said that although the voting process is smooth across the state, there are incidences of BVAS, and ballot boxes snatching in Soba Local government area, and the Southern part of the state.
The governor stated this in an interview with newsmen after he cast his vote at his 024 polling unit, Unguwar Sarki, Kaduna.
According to him, “a rice mill was attacked by thugs Friday night, and incidences of BVAS, and ballot boxes snatches in Soba Local Government and southern part of the state.”
El-Rufai commended the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) for introducing technology in the election process.
He however, also expressed concern over the low voter turnout of voters, adding that the queue of the Women was surprisingly shorter than that of men.
