The Bauchi First Lady, Hajiya Aisha Mohammed has commended Mrs Victoria Habila, wife of the Council Chairman of Bogoro local government of the state.
The commendation is contained in a letter addressed to Habila and signed personally by Mrs Mohammed on Tuesday.
Titled, “Letter of appreciation for your contribution towards improving the health of women and children in Bogoro local government area”,the First Lady stated that she has observed how Mrs Habila has been prioritizing the health and wellbeing of women and children in the local government area.
“My office has observed with keen interest and appreciation, how you have been prioritizing the health and wellbeing of women and children, as a compliment to the efforts of our administration to reposition the State Health Sector.
“I will personally like to appreciate you, for all the hard work and diligent effort you have put into the conduct of a step-down sensitization of women on reproductive, maternal, new-born, and child health, malaria and nutrition.
“This shows that you are dedicated and ready to work for the benefits of our women and children in Bauchi state. It will not be an exaggeration if l say that you are a champion of this health intervention at the local government.
“We are grateful to have you as a wife of the local government chairman because we know you can deliver more,” the letter reads.
