The Federal Government, has eased the nationwide movement placed as a result of the dreaded coronavirus.
Announcing the development at the daily briefing of the Presidential Task Force on COVID-19, PTF, on Thursday, its National Coordinator, Dr Sani Aliyu said the curfew has been relaxed to now be from 12pm to 4am.
“We are modifying the curfew to commence from 12 midnight to 4am nationwide, effective from 12:00 tonight.
“This does not apply to people on essential services and international travellers that might be returning from abroad,” he said.
He also stated that all limitations to land travels have been lifted and markets across the country can now open and operate all day.
Dr Aliyu urged states, which are considering to reopen schools to conduct risks assessment before doing so, to enable the safety of all vulnerable groups.
