The Sole spiritual head of the Brotherhood of the Cross and Star (BCS), Olumba Olumba Obu, has cautioned political leaders at all levels of governance in Nigeria to forgo illegal possessions for the sake of peace or be doomed.
He stated this while addressing a world press conference on the celebration of “the divine numbering of the elects,” on Tuesday.
The event, scheduled to hold between April 3 and 9, 2023, will hold at the Ambo street World headquarters of BCS while the grand finale will take place at the U J Esuene stadium in Calabar.
According to Obu, “the tears and sufferings of ordinary citizens has risen to the throne of God and no more shall God allow thieves and robbers to swindle the collective wealth of the nation.
“With the Divine Numbering of the elect event, any leader who perpetrates violence and corruption for selfish gains shall face the wrath of God.
“After this event, many things shall happen not just in Nigeria but in the entire world as the era of those who perpetrate wickedness has come to an end,” the spiritual head said.
Represented by the BCS spokesperson, Brother Amah Williams, the spiritual head argued that democracy alone is not the solution to global changes,.
“Despite the excellent political and democratic ideologies, political tensions and corruption still persist in all parts of the world and until mankind embraces the principles of love and turn to God, these challenges shall persist.”
He also warned despotic leaders all over the world who turn the collective wealth of their people to their personal wealth and those who bully and oppress their people and cause pain and death amongst the children of God that, “with the Divine Numbering of the Elect event, your time is up.”
Obu further cautioned world leaders and government at all levels that the solution to the myriad of problems bedeviling mankind today can only be found in his teachings as contained in his gospels delivered to the world.
On the event which will attract about 150,000 men and women from all over the world, he said “it will feature the restoration of the twelve powers of man including meekness, love, faith, holiness, wisdom, mercy, self control, patience, forgiveness, peace among others.
“It is an event that will renew man’s spiritual consciousness and divine abilities to submerge the evil and hard times, witness the divine restoration of the natural powers of nature in man while bringing about the realization and actualization of man’s inner power for greater scientific and economic innovations.
“The restoration of the twelve powers of man is the commencement of a new world consciousness which will spiritually breed men and women of integrity and innate spiritual abilities.
“The event brings reassurance to Nigerians and the entire world that there is hope for mankind despite the severe economic meltdown, global warming and political instability,” Obu assured.
He added that BCS remains the ideal instrument for mankind to regain her spiritual, moral and social freedom as people created to serve God’s purpose.
“Brotherhood has come to transform man from his imperfection to perfection through the teaching and practicing of the word of God and to take man to the realization of the unadulterated wisdom and understanding of his being as an integral part of the divine.”
