The Nigerian Defence Headquarters has declared the Finland-based factional leader of the separatist Southeast group, the Indigenous People of Biafra( IPOB), Simon Ekpa, and 96 kingpins of other terrorists groups, who have been linked to kidnappings, killings and other heinous crimes in the Northern part of the country wanted.

The Director of Defence Media Operations, Maj. Gen. Edward Buba confirmed the declaration of the terrorists wanted by the military on Friday.

Ekpa is the mastermind of the ‘sit-at-home’ on Mondays and other days in the Southeast states of Nigeria, and many, including security operatives, have been killed by the enforcers of the sit-at-home order who are believed to be acting on his orders.

Ekpa, who usually claimed that he declared the sit-at-home order to protest the detention of IPOB leader Nnamdi Kanu, usually celebrates the murder of security personnel and the burning of police stations and other security infrastructure by his enforcers on his social media handles.

However, he was not the only member of the IPOB separatist group declared wanted.

Some of the others also listed as wanted believed to be linked to IPOB include Chika Edoziem, Egede, Zuma, ThankGod Gentle, Flavour, Mathew; David Ndubuisi, High Chief Williams Agbor, Ebuka Nwaka and Friday Ojimka.

Also declared wanted are Obiemesi Chukwudi aka Dan Chuks, David Ezekwem Chidiebube and Amobi Chinonso Okafor aka Temple among others.
