A Pastor has pleaded guilty before a Yaba Chief Magistrate’s court in Lagos, to having canal knowledge and impregnating two teenage sisters.

Nduka Anyanwu, who is facing a two-count charge of defilement, confessed to committing the crimes on Wednesday.

The Chief Magistrate, Mrs. A. Adebayo, adjourned the case to September 15, for facts and sentencing, however, she told the Police to put the suspect behind bars.

During the court procedure, the Police prosecutor, ASP Roman Unuigbe told the court that the suspect had committed the crime sometimes in June, at Oshodi.

He said the Pastor allegedly slept with the girls on several occasions in the Church under the pretence of holding prayer sessions for them.

Unuigbe told the court that the offences contravene Section 137 of the Criminal Law of Lagos State, 2015, and sections 137 stipulates life imprisonment for the offence of defilement of a minor.
