Mary Noel-Berje, the spokesperson of Niger state, governor Abubakar Sani Bello, has expressed shock over the sudden demise of the African Independent Television correspondent in the State, Muhammad Danladi Ibrahim.

Noel-Berje in a condolence message, said that the sudden death of Danladi Ibrahim is a reminder that our departure from this world can occur at any moment.

The CPS who described the deceased as a hard-working and dedicated journalist, said his ideas and contributions toward ensuring accurate and balanced reportage will be missed.

“The sudden departure of our brother and colleague came as a rude shock to us and this indeed is a reminder to all that nothing is permanent in life and death can knock at our doors at any time.”

“I have known and worked with Danladi Ibrahim for close to two decades now, we worked together in the Nigeria Television Authority (NTA) and he was a hardworking colleague, he worked with Aminiya newspaper and even when I became the Chief Press Secretary, we were still working together because he also got appointment with the AIT. We’ve been in this journalism work together and I can say that he was a committed and dedicated colleague.

“I commiserate with his immediate and extended family members, the Nigeria Union of Journalists, the Correspondent Chapel and the entire staff of the AIT. I pray that God will grant us the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss and fill up the vacuum that have been created by the death of Danladi Ibrahim”, she said.

Late Mohammed Danladi Ibrahim was an hausa news caster (artist) with NTA Minna for several years.

He also worked with Aminiya Newspaper,  an Hausa version of the Daily Trust Newspaper for many years and ntil his sudden death, he was the AIT Niger State correspondent.

He died yesterday in a ghastly motor accident that occurred around Maryam Babangida Science School Minna, on his way home after he broke his fast at Prestige FM Minna and he is survived by a wife and children.
