“The visit is to deepen partnership with the Corps watching over the NECO exams centres across the nation. We want the Corps to provide administrative and operational protection for officers of NECO on field work,” Obioma said.

Responding, the NSCDC CG, enlightened the Registrar on the Corps mandate of the protection of critical infrastructure and national assets in Nigeria, Disaster Management, “which can be as a result of natural disaster or man-made by carrying out Rescue, Operation, Rehabilitation and Mitigation,” among other things.
