As the 2023 general elections draw near, 22 groups in Kano state, have endorsed the State Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Murtala Sule Garo for governorship race in the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
The groups operating as ‘Rwinwin’ in a statement by its chairman, Auwal Dankano on Sunday, said they endorsed Garo after careful study of who can deliver the dividend of democracy to the people.
Rwinwin therefore issued a two-week ultimatum for Garo to declare his intention or drag him to court to answer their call.
The groups added that Garo’s endorsement was due to his vast experience in governance and the need to get an astute politician who could continue the good work of Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje.
