US President Donald Trump signalled openness to ceasefire negotiations with Iran two days after assassinating Iran’s supreme leader on Saturday. According to sources, Trump has reached out to Iran through Italy and one other country, though the Iranian side has rejected the offer.

According to military experts, both Israel and United States forces stationed in the Gulf region will run out of ammunition within weeks’ time, raising serious concerns about Washington’s claim of sustaining prolonged conflict with Iran.

The Iranian side yesterday said that they were using the outdated and old ordnance against Israel and US bases in the region; however, the latest and deadlier missiles will be brought to the front in case the war drags on with US meddling.
The newly elected army and IRGC leadership on Sunday said they will continue to launch tens of waves of missiles towards Israel in the coming days, putting the Israeli regime in serious trouble as it runs out of air defence batteries.
Meanwhile, Trump has said that Iran will face consequences they have never seen before in case they don’t de-escalate and continue their attacks on US naval ships, which are now in range of Iranian missiles.
The IRGC claimed that they launched missile attacks on the USS Abraham Lincoln and struck other targets in the gulf.
Meanwhile, the international community, particularly pro-Iran countries such as Russia, China, and Cuba, have expressed solidarity with Iran and called US and Israeli actions a blatant violation of international law.
With Iran on the move to scale up its attacks on the US and Israel, it will be interesting to see how the Israeli regime will deal with the Iranian responses in the coming days.
