Gunmen have opened fire on commuters and killed six along Kaduna-Birnin Gwari road.
A statement by the Kaduna State Commissioner for Internal Security and Home Affairs, Samuel Aruwan on Friday, said the bandits, reported to be on the run from security agencies in the Birnin Gwari general area, took to the highway around Ungwan Dangedda.
He added that as the bandits retreated, they shot at several vehicles and the driver of one of the commercial vehicles, was hit, lost control of the vehicle, resulting in its somersault.
