The Public and Private Development Centre (PPDC), a non-governmental organisation says, its initiative, Access to Justice Parley will bring out a blue print aimed towards better ways of accessing justice in the country.
Mr Kenechukwu Agwu, the Senior Programme Manager, Access to Justice, PPDC, made this known in an interview in Abuja.
According to Agwu, the Parley which will hold on Nov. 7 in Abuja is expected to bring stakeholders from the five states that the NGO is working in and the Federal Capital Territory.
He further explained that stakeholders at the Parley would participate online, adding that there will be a high panel session to discuss the issue of access to justice.
“We are bringing stakeholders in the space, government officials, legislators, Civil Society Organisations, citizens and others to look at the real issues to access to justice.
“We will also look at the use of technology in solving the issue of accesses to justice in Nigeria. We will look forward to chatting a new course in terms finding solutions.
“This Parley is expected to bring out the blue print to access to justice programmes moving forward. This will go a long way to address challenges relating to administration of justice in Nigeria,” Agwu said.
He also hinted that the parley would also inaugurate two projects and PPDC’s access to justice programmes generally.
