Davido, born David Adeleke on November 21, 1992, in Atlanta, USA, began his professional music career in 2011. He rose to fame with his 2012 debut album Omo Baba Olowo and the hit single “Dami Duro”.
Over the past 15 years, he has released five studio albums — Omo Baba Olowo (2012), A Good Time (2019), A Better Time (2020), Timeless (2023), and 5ive (2025). His achievements include multiple Grammy nominations, historic sold-out concerts (including the O2 Arena in London), and several groundbreaking firsts for African artists.
