The Niger Christian Youth Forum (NCYF) has congratulated James Jiya, popularly known as “Justice,” for clinching the Heritage Boxing Entertainment (HBE) Championship Belt.
The forum described the achievement as a source of immense pride for the youth community and the people of Niger State.
In a statement, the NCYF congratulated Jiya on what it called a remarkable and inspiring victory.
The Forum said the feat demonstrated that discipline, courage, determination, perseverance and an unwavering commitment to excellence can lead young people to extraordinary heights.
NCYF said the championship win represented more than a personal triumph or a belt. It viewed the achievement as evidence that talents and gifts in young people can become powerful instruments of influence and positive impact when developed with dedication and purpose.
As a Christian youth organisation, the forum expressed particular pride in celebrating a young man whose success, it said, reflected those values.
The group framed Jiya’s victory as a testament to hard work and resilience, positioning it as an example for other young people in Niger State and beyond.
The Heritage Boxing Entertainment also known as HBE is a professional boxing promotion based in Lagos, Nigeria, that organizes fights and awards its own championship belts (National, African, International, World, and special titles such as the President Belt).
These belts function like titles in other boxing promotions where fighters compete for them in sanctioned bouts, and winners are recognised as HBE champions in their weight classes.
The promotion features Nigerian boxers alongside fighters from other African countries and occasionally further afield.
James Jiya, popularly known as “Justice”, the HBE Championship Belt refers to one of these titles he won under the promotion. Jiya is a Nigerian professional boxer who made his pro debut in late 2025.
