The National Business and Technical Examinations Board (NABTEB) has announced May 24 and May 31 as the deadlines for registration for the National Common Entrance Examination (NCEE) and the May/June In-School Certificate Examinations respectively.
This was disclosed in a statement issued on Wednesday in Benin by the board’s Assistant Director of Media and Protocol, Uchechukwu Olisah.
The Registrar and Chief Executive Officer of NABTEB, Prof. Aminu Mohammed, urged schools, parents, guardians, and prospective candidates to complete their registration before the deadlines.
Mohammed said registration for the May/June In-School Certificate Examinations closes on May 31, while the NCEE registration ends on May 24.
He explained that the board has streamlined the registration process through designated online portals for a seamless experience.
Schools registering candidates for the May/June examinations are required to obtain registration slots from their respective NABTEB state offices, enrol candidates using the board’s biometric software, and complete the process on the official portal after payment.
Candidates for the NCEE are to obtain Personal Identification Numbers (PINs) through state offices before registering online. Schools can also carry out bulk registration using designated login credentials.
The registrar reiterated NABTEB’s commitment to using technology to improve examination administration and service delivery.
He advised candidates and school authorities to strictly follow the registration guidelines and ensure accurate data submission. For further enquiries, the public should contact the nearest NABTEB state office or visit the board’s official registration portals.
