The Sokoto State Chapter of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) has commiserated with the families of the victims killed in Sunday attacks on some communities in the state.
The state PDP Chairman, Bello Goronyo stated this in a statement issued on Monday to newsmen by Hassan Sanyinnawal, the party’s spokesman.
“While expressing the party’s deepest condolences to the families of the victims, also called on the Sokoto State Government to take necessary measures in tackling insecurity in the state and also assist the families of the victims.
“The party prayed Allah to forgive the deceased and give their families the fortitude to bear the irreparable losses.
“Meanwhile, the party has also extended similar condolences to the people of More town, Kware Local Government, and Raka in Tangaza over the same heinous attack,” the party said.
Recall that the Sokoto State Police command confirmed the killing of no fewer than 30 people during the attack on six communities in Tangaza local government area of the state.
