Troops of Operation Fansan Yamma rescued kidnapping victims, arrested a suspected terrorist collaborator, and recovered 318 rustled livestock during operations in Kaduna, Katsina, and Zamfara.
This was detailed in an operational report released to reporters on Friday in Abuja.
The report stated that troops at Forward Operating Base Kadage rescued two women and a toddler abandoned by bandits in Igabi Local Government Area, Kaduna State. The victims were kidnapped in May from Kajenjere Tami village and were being moved to another bandit camp before troops intervened.

The rescued victims received medical attention before being reunited with their families.
In Zamfara, troops and a Tactical Strike Team arrested a 19-year-old suspected terrorist collaborator at a checkpoint along the Kaura Namoda-Zurmi road, and he was taken into custody for further investigation.
In Katsina State, troops conducted an offensive targeting terrorist enclaves in Matazu Local Government Area, following aerial surveillance and bombardment by the Air Component of Operation Fansan Yamma.
During the operation, troops recovered 318 rustled livestock: 36 cattle, 280 sheep, and two donkeys.
The army also assured residents of continued military support and prompt response to distress calls.
