Kebbi state governor, Atiku Bagudu has visited to commiserate with his Sokoto state counterpart following the fire inferno that razed Sokoto central market on Tuesday.
The governor, who was the first high profile personality that visited to sympathize with Tambuwal, also donated N30 million to the victims of the inferno.
According to Bagudu, his visit to Tambuwal was to commiserate with the government and people of Sokoto state, stressing that whatever happens to the state concerns his.
Tambuwal in his response thanked Bagudu, saying the donation is a testimony of the cordial relationship and brotherhood between Sokoto and Kebbi states.
The Sokoto governor disclosed that no life had been lost as a result of the fire, adding that fire fighting vehicles of the state and those of the federal government and Sultan Abubakar III International Airport, were mobilized to control the situation.
Expressing appreciation to security agents for their support towards controlling the situation, Tambuwal prayed to Allah to reward Bagudu and the people of his state abundantly.
The governor led him and his entourage to the scene of the disaster where Bagudu also condoled the victims.
