Commissioners: 3 females make list, as Katsina Assembly receives list of 20 nominees [SEE NAMES]

The Katsina State House of Assembly has received a list of 20 Commissioner-nominees from Governor Dikko Radda, and fixed July 24 for the commencement of their screening.

The Speaker of the Assembly, Nasir Yahaya-Daura, announced this after the adoption of the list of the commissioner-nominees during plenary on Wednesday.

The Majority Leader, Shamsuddeen Dabai, had, during plenary, read the names of the commissioner-nominees presented by the governor.

The nominees included: Prof. Ahmed Muhammad (from Bakori Local Government Area), Ishaq Shehu-Dabai (Danja LGA), Prof. Badamasi Charanchi (Charanchi LGA) and Dr. Nasir Danmusa (Danmusa LGA).

Others were: Bala Salisu (Zango LGA), Prof. Abdulhamid Ahmed (Mani LGA), Musa Adamu (Funtua LGA), Yusuf Rabiu-Jirdede (Mai’adaua LGA), Aliyu Lawal-Zakari (Dutsi LGA), Bishir Tanimu-Gambo (Dutsin-Ma) and Fadila Muhammad-Dikko (Kurfi LGA).

Others are Hamza Sulaiman (Faskari LGA), Isah Musa (Kankara LGA), Dr. Sani Magaji (Ingawa LGA), Dr. Faisal Umar (Kaita LGA) and Bello Husaini-Kagara (Kafur LGA).

The remaining nominees were: Dr. Bishir Gambo-Saulawa (Katsina LGA), Hadiza Yar’adua (Katsina LGA), Zainab Musawa (Musawa LGA) and Adnan Nahabu (Daura LGA).
