BREAKING: IGP redeploys 21 new CPs to 9 commands, 12 formations +LIST

The Inspector-General of Police, IGP Muhammadu Adamu on Tuesday ordered the posting and redeployment of 21 new commissioners of police to nine state commands and other police formations across the country.

This is contained in a statement by CSP Aremu Adeniran a copy of which was obtained by ASHENEWS on Tuesday.

The statement gave the names of the affected commissioners as follows:

CP Adeleke Adeyinka Bode, mni, Kebbi state

CP Philip Maku, SPU, FHQ, Abuja

CP Ali Janga Aji, Sokoto State

CP Ohikere S. Idris, fsi, Armament, FHQ, Abuja

CP Daniel Sokari-Pedro, mni, CMDT Police College Ikeja

CP John O. Amadi, mni, Port Authority Police (PAP), Western, Lagos

CP Ngozi Onadeko, fdc, Oyo State

CP Mohammed Ndatsu Aliyu, Enugu state

CP Haladu Musa Rosamson, fdc, Border Patrol, FHQ, Abuja

CP Sikiru Akande, Cross River State

CP Aliyu Garba, Ebonyi State

CP Abubakar Umar Bature, Airport Command

CP Yusuf Ahmed, Department of Operations, FHQ

CP Aliyu Adamu Alhaji, Adamawa State

CP Babaita Ishola, Training and Department

CP Nasiru Mohammed, Imo state

According to the statement, the postings and redeployments are with immediate effect.
