Abunyie congratulates Anambra people, salutes Soludo on inauguration

Ugochukwu Abunyie has felicitated with the people of Anambra state on the inauguration of Chukwuma Sludo as the new governor of the state.

This is contained in a statement he personally signed and made available to ASHENEWS on Friday

“I congratulate Governor Obiano for doing his best in his eight years in office, while urging Prof Charles Soludo to hit the ground running immediately, as the expectations from Ndi Anambra are very high.

“As you mount the saddle today, march 17th, 2022 as the 5th Executive Governor of Anambra State, be rest assured of my kind wishes and prayers. Ndi Anambra will be happy to see a governor that will usher in a democratically elected system at the third tier of government by conducting local government council election that has eluded the State since it was last conducted in 2014.

“Ndi Anambra will be happy to see a governor that will create enabling environment for Industries to spring up in the State, so as to create employment for our teeming young people.

“A governor that will enthrone a private sector partnership will be the dream of Ndi Anambra. A governor that will fix our decayed road Infrastructures will be the delight of Ndi Anambra. Ndi Anambra will be glad to see a governor that will tackle the Insecurity situation in Anambra State head-on.

“I have no doubt in my mind that you will deliver coming from a vintage position as a former CBN Governor and former chairman of Anambra vision 2070. Go and prove your mettle Your Excellency,” the statement reads.

Abunyie assured Soludo of joint support should he win and become E member of the House of Representatives.

“On my part, If elected a member of the green chamber I shall join hands with my colleagues to offer you our support towards building the Anambra of our dream.

Congratulations Ndi Anambra and salute to Prof Charles Chukwuma Soludo, the 6th Executive Governor of Anambra State.”
