The Naira closed the week with a slight loss at the official market, trading at ₦1,343.63 against the U.S. dollar.
Data released on the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) website on Friday showed that the Naira lost ₦1.33, representing a 0.09% decline from Thursday, when it stood at ₦1,342.30 to the dollar.

The Naira had enjoyed a two-week appreciation before falling on Friday. It traded at ₦1,356.18 on Monday, ₦1,343.76 on Tuesday, and ₦1,343.74 on Wednesday.
