The All Progressives Congress (APC) has announced the sale of its expression of interest and nomination forms ahead of the 2023 General Elections. For House of Representatives positions, the form costs N3,850,000. Forms for the State House of Assembly positions, cost N850,000, while female aspirants and physically challenged aspirants are entitled to 50% of the prescribed fees for each position. The Federal High Court Abuja has adjourned Tuesday’s proceedings in Nigerian government’s suit against the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, Nnamdi Kanu till Wednesday. An agriculture expert, Prof. Victor Olowe, has called for the promotion of organic farming, due to the prevalence of carcinogenic contents in crops grown with artificial fertilizers. A nine-year-old girl was attacked and killed by a crocodile while walking on a riverside path with her sister in Indonesia’s West Sumatra province, a search official said on Tuesday. The UN Food and Agriculture Organisation (FAO), on Monday launched a comprehensive response plan for the Horn of Africa as more than $138 million is needed to assist rural communities affected by extended drought in the region.
