The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), which made this known via its verified website on Monday morning, said the additional infections, though declined from the 655 recorded on Saturday, raised the cumulative cases to 182,503. The Nigerian IT start-up environment is capable of generating $3 billion annually, the Director-General of the Nigeria Information and Technology Development Agency (NITDA), Kashifu Abdullahi, has said. Adamawa state has recorded 60 suspected Cholera cases in the state, according to the Coordinator, Cholera Containment Committee in the state, Dr Selin La’ori. La’ori, who disclosed this at the Primary Healthcare Development Agency stakeholders’ meeting held on Sunday, in Yola, added that the meeting was to map out strategies to contain the spread of the disease. Dr Matshidiso Moeti, World Health Organisation (WHO) Regional Director for Africa, has said that the Ministry of Health of Cote d’Ivoire on Sunday confirmed the country’s first Ebola case since 1994. Moeti advised that while pushing governments to concentrate on the COVID-19 response, they should also improve their preparedness for possible Ebola cases.
