The Nigerian National Petroleum Company (NNPC) Limited has announced that it recorded a huge leap in trading surplus amounting to ₦141.96 billion in June 2021. This the company said is compared to a deficit of ₦37.46 billion recorded in May the same year. This is contained in the June 2021 figures of the NNPC Monthly Financial and Operations Report (MFOR). Terrorists in fresh attack on Gatawa village in Sabon Birni local government area of Sokoto state on Friday, kidnapped the chief imam, Aminu Garba and 10 other persons during a congregational prayer.
