Russia expelled seven Danish embassy workers on Thursday in response to the expulsion of Russian diplomats from Denmark. “On May 5, the Danish ambassador to Russia, Carsten Søndergaard, was summoned to the Foreign Ministry because Copenhagen unjustifiably declared 15 employees of the Russian embassy and trade mission in Denmark undesirable. “And because the Danish authorities are providing military assistance to Kiev,” the Russian Foreign Ministry said in a statement.
