Diesel tanker explosion has killed three persons while two others were rescued with burns on Monday evening in Lokoja, capital of Kogi state. Corps Commander Stephen Dawulung, Kogi Sector of the Federal Road Safely Corps (FRSC), who confirmed the incident in Lokoja, said it occurred at Felele quarters on the Lokoja-Kabba road around 8.17pm of Monday. The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) says fresh registration in the ongoing nationwide Continuous Voter Registration (CVR) has hit 10,487,972 as at 7 a.m. on Monday, June 27. The commission in its CVR weekly update, released in Abuja on Monday, also disclosed that 8,631,696 registrants had completed their registrations. It disclosed that 3,250,449 of the registrants completed the process through online, while 5,381,247 did through physical registration. A total of 3,000 children were sacked from school by bandit activities across some communities in Jibia local government area of Katsina state.
