A multiple auto crash has claimed the lives of 11 persons who were burnt to death near Isara Bridge, Ogere, off the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway on Saturday night. Seven other persons sustained varying degrees of injuries in the inferno that resulted from the accident. The Ondo State Command of the Nigeria Police has revealed that it rescued a total of 77 persons from a Church, following the earlier rescue of 50 children who were kept in a dungeon of the Church in Ondo West local government area of Ondo state. Turkish and foreign law enforcement have seized record quantities of cocaine heading from South America to Turkey, revealing the expanding role of the country’s traffickers in shipping drugs to European and Middle Eastern markets. Lagos state has revealed that 10,000 retirees are been owed their pension rights in Lagos State, Mr Babalola Obilana, Director-General, Lagos Pension Commission (LASPEC), has said. Obilana said the commission also had about N10 billion to pay as outstanding accumulated debts for pensioners in the state.
