Kaduna state government has confirmed the killing of two military personnel and 32 other persons as well as injuring seven other people in the attack on communities in Kaura local government area of the state. It also confirmed that over 200 houses and 32 shops were burnt, seven people while three vehicles and 17 motorcycles were vandalized in Tsonje, Agban, Katanga and Kadarko communities of the local government area. Nigerian government says fully vaccinated travellers coming into the country will no longer be required to take a pre-departure PCR COVID-19 test. The Monetary Policy Committee (MPC) of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) has announced a retention of the country’s Monetary Policy Rate (MPR) at 11.5 per cent for the upteenth time. Mr Godwin Emefiele, the CBN Governor, who announced this on Monday in Abuja while reading a communique from the apex bank’s second MPC meeting for 2022, said that the committee also decided to hold all other parameters constant.
