The Sokoto Water Board has not been able to pump water through the pipeline network since contractors stopped supplying expensive diesel to pump water. The high cost of diesel has made the water board to resort to distributing water by using tankers that go to households. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy on Saturday dismissed several of Kyiv’s senior envoys abroad, including the country’s outspoken ambassador to Germany, the presidential website said. Reuters reports that Zelensky announced the sack of the ambassadors in a decree that gave no reason for the move. The Cinema Exhibitors Association of Nigeria (CEAN) on Saturday said it recorded N363 million as total ticket sales in all cinemas across the country for the month of June.
