A group of women, known as “Able Women”, have taken up the repair of the dilapidating access road to their community, Byazhin- Across, a community in Kubwa, a suburb of Abuja. The access road leading to the community has been in a bad state, causing accidents for the residents. Bandits have killed an unspecified number of farmers who were abducted in Buruku and Udawa villages in Chikun local government area of Kaduna state. The Ebonyi Police Command have confirmed that an unidentified vehicle plunged into a mining pit at Enyigba community in Abakaliki local government area of the state.
