The Federal Executive Council (FEC) has approved N22 billion for the construction of a conference hostel facility for the Nigeria Content Development and Monitoring Board. The facility is to be located opposite the National Content building in Yenegoa, capital of Bayelsa. A total number of 197 females were among the 444 recruit Constables of the Nigeria Police Force that passed-out on Wednesday at the Police Training School, Nekede near Owerri. The Nigerian Correctional Service (NCoS) has confirmed the death of four inmates and injury of 16 others during gunmen attack on the Kuje Custodial Centre at which 879 inmates escaped Tuesday night. The Service Public Relations Officer (SPRO), Mr Abubakar Umar made the confirmation in a statement on Wednesday in Abuja. The Nigerian government on Tuesday night announced the takeover of three electricity distribution companies by Fidelity Bank Plc. They are Kano Electricity Distribution Company (KEDCO), Benin Electricity Distribution Company (BEDCO) and Kaduna Electricity Distribution Company (KAEDCO).
